Beogradski festival dokumentarnog i kratkometražnog filma predstaviće od 30. marta do 3. aprila 130 ostvarenja iz Srbije i sveta, od kojih je 90 u konkurenciji za nagrade, dok su prateći posvećeni poljskom i izraelskom filmu, pariskom alternativnom filmu, ostvarenjima iz regiona, dokumentarcima o aktuelnim temama poput studentskih protesta u novom veku, te sudbini nekoliko vanserijskih umetnika i uzbudljivim svedočanstvima o dramatičnim događajima 20. veka.

U međunarodnoj konkurenciji su 52 strana filma – odabrana među šezdesetak prijavljenih, dok domaći takmičarski program obuhvata 38 filmova, koji su odabrani među stotinak prijavljenih, saopšteno je 23. marta na konferenciji za novinare u Skupštini grada Beograda, koja je osnivač Festivala kratkog metra, najstarije od 11 gradskih manifestacija.

Filmovi se takmiče po kategorijama (kratki igrani, dokumentarni, eksperimentalni i animirani), a o nagradama (Gran pri, zlatne plakete i medalje Beograd, diplome), čiji je fond ukupno 14.000 evra (Gran pri 3.000), odlučivaće žiri koji čine Mark Ripoll iz Francuske, Pjer Žalica (Bosna i Hercegovina), Shirly Berkovitz (Izrael) i Mina Đukić i Bojana Maljević iz Srbije.
