Opening word by Miroslava Lukic Krstanovic (Ethnographic Institute SANU)
The „AinB“ exhibition is a collaboratiove project of photographer Nebojša Babic and curator Ana Sladojevic. The people that participated in the project are Museum friends who are connected through thier roots, language or familial ties to Africa: Emma Ashiantide, Isaac Nana Amissah-Eshun, Alberto Dias, Arafan Djassi (in memoriam), Biradieye Fall, Ivon Jafali, Abdellatyf Kharmouch, Tarik Kharmouch, Hamadahamane Maiga, Mihajlo Idrisa Maiga, Tamara Kabangu Maiga, Alfaris Sajed, Hani Tajeb. Individual stories that accompany thier portraits, reconstruct their relationship with their surroundings. Video footage was created with film-director Aleksandar Maricic. The exhibition was realised with the help of ORANGE Studio.

18 / Lecture: „A l’appel de la Race de Saba“, Vesna Cakeljic (PhD)
The lecture is based on the poetry of Leopold Sedar Sengore and will reflect on the book edited and translated by Vesna Cakeljic (PhD), publushed by the renowned publishing firm „Paideia“ fronted by Petar Živadinovic. The theoretical work of Vesna Cakeljic reveals the complex poetic work of this world renowned author, through her erudite and highly developed translatory expertise.
21h / Concert: Metarmophosis – Branka Parlic performs piano pieces by Philip Glass
(Programme: Metamorphosis 1-5, Wichita Vortex Sutra, Modern Love Waltz)
Pianist Branka Parlić brings her performance of Philip Glass to the Museum of African Art. The contrast and mutual intervention created between a museum context and concert performance bring life to a completely new and unique experience of space and music. The concert is supported by MITROS MUSIC
